1. Acceptance
By using the ConvoTrace app you agree to these Terms and to our Privacy Policy. If you do not agree, do not use the app.
2. Licence
We grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use ConvoTrace on Apple devices you own or control, subject to the App Store Terms of Service.
3. Lawful, responsible use
ConvoTrace records audio continuously while open. You are solely responsible for complying with all laws that apply to you — including recording, wiretapping, and consent laws. In many jurisdictions you must inform or obtain consent from other parties before recording a conversation. You must only record where you have the right to do so, and you are responsible for how you use and share any recordings or transcripts. You agree not to use ConvoTrace to record unlawfully, to harass, or to violate anyone's rights.
4. Your content
You own your recordings and transcripts. By using the optional transcription feature you authorise us and our processor (ElevenLabs) to process the clips you choose, solely to provide transcription back to you, as described in the Privacy Policy.
5. Subscriptions & billing
- Transcription is offered via auto-renewable monthly subscriptions, granting a number of transcription hours per month that reset at renewal.
- Payment is charged to your Apple ID. Subscriptions renew automatically unless cancelled at least 24 hours before the end of the period. Manage or cancel anytime in your Apple ID settings.
- Prices are shown in the app before purchase. Unused hours do not roll over. Refunds are handled by Apple per the App Store policy.
6. Availability
The transcription service depends on third-party providers and network connectivity and may be unavailable or interrupted. We may set fair-use and capacity limits to keep the service reliable.
7. Disclaimer
ConvoTrace is provided "as is", without warranties of any kind. Audio capture can be interrupted by the operating system, calls, or low battery, and transcripts may contain errors. We do not guarantee that any particular audio will be captured, saved, or transcribed accurately.
8. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages, or for lost recordings, transcripts, or data, arising from your use of the app.
9. Changes
We may update these Terms; continued use after changes constitutes acceptance. Material changes will be reflected here with a new date.
